ANNA ATIAGINA · SENIOR UX DESIGNER · SEATTLE, WA

Enterprise AI designer: from the agents people use to the infrastructure that governs them.

Portrait of Anna Atiagina

I'm a UX designer with a background in linguistics and conversational systems. I define complex product models, prototype how they behave, and work hands-on through research, alignment, technical negotiation, implementation, and refinement.

Founding designer of Workday's Agent System of Record and the original Workday Agent for Microsoft Copilot. Previously at Amazon Alexa.

How I work

I make emerging products tangible.

My highest-leverage work begins before a product has established conventions, when the system, user model, technical boundaries, and experience are still being defined.

01

Define the system before polishing the surface

I map the objects, relationships, roles, states, and decisions that make a complex product understandable. Clear screens follow from a coherent product model.

02

Prototype the behavior

I use functional AI-assisted prototypes to make abstract systems researchable and decision-ready by rapidly prototyping and simulating logic, state, permissions, and end-to-end interaction.

03

Create the artifact the decision needs

A screen is not always the right medium. Depending on the problem, I use system maps, journeys, comics, narrated walkthroughs, or working prototypes to help customers, engineers, and leaders understand the same experience.

04

Build foundations that can scale

I work hands-on from early concept through research, alignment, technical negotiation, implementation, and refinement; creating a coherent system that can keep evolving, whether I continue the work myself or others build on it.

Public evidence of product significance
